TBS Proposal Generators

Most business spend some time creating proposals for their prospective customers.  Are you spending too much time generating proposals currently?  Do your proposals not look professional?  If you are looking for a easy way to generate proposals, and you have a relatively few line items, we have a Excel template designed for that purpose.  This template, as written, will handle 125 line items.  If you have more than 125 items, or you want to keep a record of the proposals you generate, check out our Database Application version.

Excel Template

To use, you need to set up a few items: the desired markup %, sales tax %, salesman name.  Then you enter the items that you are going to be quoting.  All you need to enter here is the description, unit of measure, and cost amount.  The spreadsheet will apply the markup % to calculate the selling price.

To generate a proposal, you just enter in the name and address of the person or company you are quoting, then key in the quantity of each line you are quoting.  When you are done specifying the quantities, click on the "Update Proposal" button, then print out your proposal.

Database Application

The database driven TBS Proposal Generator allows you to have an unlimited number of items.  You also keep the customer names and addresses on file, in case you ever want to quote them in the future.  The database driven version is designed for companies that have more than 125 items to quote, or want to keep a record of the quotes that they produce.  You will spend more time setting up the items here than in the excel version.
